Crowdsourced Cinema: Beetlejuice

Crowdsourced Cinema is a public art project of Northampton Community Television in which the community collaboratively remakes a famous film. This is the 4th year we’ve been producing it – 37 teams from the Pioneer Valley and beyond participated this year!

Each scene is produced by a different filmmaker in any style (live action, stop motion, animation, puppetry, etc) which results in a fun, funny, entertaining reenactment of a famous movie. The project invites people to create and play with cinema who perhaps haven’t before, challenges seasoned filmmakers to creative problem solving, and builds community among participants.
