Curbside Check-out Procedures

CHECK-OUT

Before Members Arrive for Pick-Up

  1. All members who book equipment will be sent a copy of this procedure prior to pick-up so they are fully informed of it.
  2. Single NOM staff person arrives, applies hand sanitizer, gloves, and surgical masks provided. 
  3. All equipment left to sit from the previous week’s check-in is disinfected thoroughly.
  4. Staff access lists of materials through Rueshare on one computer.
  5. Staff gathers materials for each check-out
  6. Equipment is placed outside the NOM studio in the hallway in orders 6 feet apart from each other in designated areas marked on the floor and labeled with the names of the members picking up gear.
  7. Staff props exterior door so members don’t have to touch the door handle.
  8. Staff arranges safety cones or tape at the exterior of the door to mark out areas of more than six feet at which members can queue.
  9. Staff posts sign in the middle of the hallway which indicates the rest of the building is closed.
  10. Staff sits at desk across from glass doors to watch for members arriving.

When Members Arrive

  1. Members must wear masks when arriving and for the entire check-out procedure.
  2. Members must maintain social distancing of over six feet as they queue at marked locations.
  3. Members may only touch gear intended for them to pick up, in the spot labeled with their name.
  4. Members will allow each member in front of them to enter, collect their gear, pack their car, and exit before taking their turn. 
  5. Members will not enter NOM and interact with staff, but you can wave through the door to indicate you have finished gathering your equipment.

After Members Leave

  1. Staff member disinfects surfaces (required: front desk, equipment desk, computer used for Rueshare), door handles. 
  2. Cones and signs and tape are gathered up.
  3. Doors are locked and checked as staff leaves.

CHECK-IN

Before Members Arrive

  1. Staff member makes a list of check-ins scheduled
  2. Staff member makes sure there are enough areas marked off in tape on the floor for members to drop off gear.
  3. Staff member props exterior door to 33H, places cones/tape and sign as above in check-out procedure.

When Members Arrive

  1. Members must wear masks as they queue and enter NOM’s 33 Hawley location.
  2. Members must maintain social distancing as they queue to drop off equipment.
  3. Please wait at the queue location outside the NOM doors until a staff person waves you in. Only one member at a time may drop off gear inside of NOM’s 33 Hawley space.
  4. Members should drop off their equipment in an empty space marked off by gaff tape in the floor of NOM’s space.

After member’s Leave

  1. Staff will let equipment sit where it was dropped off until the following check-out date, when it will be disinfected.
  2. Staff member disinfects surfaces (required: front desk, equipment desk, computer used for Rueshare), door handles. 
  3. Cones and signs and tape are gathered up.
  4. Doors are locked and checked as staff leaves.
