Northampton Community Television was recently honored with four Hometown Media awards from the Alliance for Community Media for videos produced in 2015.
Best Overall Excellence in PEG Access
This award is especially gratifying to receive because this year we moved from the category of access centers with a budget of under $300k, to that of access centers with a budget of $300k-$600k (which we barely qualified for.) PEG stands for Public, Education, Government.

The Food Bank of Western Massachusetts used resources from NCTV to produce their public service announcement about the Massachusetts Emergency Funding Assistance Program (MEFAP).
Best Web Series
Pamper the Band featuring Rubblebucket- Produced by Gabe Bernini
Pamper the Band, a series in which bands take time off from the grind of tour to get interviewed while being treated to a spa day, won best web series. The first episode, filmed at Spirithouse Studio in Northampton, features interviews and a live studio performance by Rubblebucket. The second episode features Northampton natives And the Kids.

L.E. Purpose “B.A.R.Z” – directed by Ian Bauer
The official video for L.E. Purpose’s song “B.A.R.Z” was shot last Fall primarily at UMass Amherst during a tailgate party.
