Western Mass filmmakers, family and friends packed the Parlor Room last night, April 25th for the conclusion of the 2017 NCTV 7 Day Film Sprint. NCTV Producer and comedian Timothy Lovett started the night off with some jokes, then we watched the 17 films that were created over the previous 7 days. Each film was of a randomly selected genre, and had to include the line of dialog “Here we go again” and the prop “ice cream cone” somewhere in the film.
NCTV Staff awarded the top 3 films based on creativity, effort and style. 1st Place went to the team Tom Foolery/Tom Roche for their Spy film “A la Mode,” 2nd Place was awarded to Arborcast Films/Joshua Gaestel for “Holiday Cream,” and in 3rd place was “Deleting Everything” by Troop Quarter Life Crisis/Ashley Bauer. Honorable mention went to Isabelle Hodge for her Buddy film “Ari & Rigel.”
